Sutton Betti, sculptor from Colorado has been commissioned (Aug 2025.) Known for his patriotic and touching work.Sutton will create the likeness of "Chewy" in bronze. The bronze will then have a patina applied to create his white coat. To see some of his work go to https://www.suttonbetti.com
The Statement
Feeliing in Words
The base or plinth of the sculpture will be made
to lift "Chewy" so that he will be face high.
On the plinth will be the phrase
“You were my lifeline, my protector, my friend. You were — and will always be — my hero.”
The touching words of an unknown veteran concerning the loss of his service dog.
